| Technical Notes | Resurface or replace the flywheel; if machined past .060 in., install the included fiber spacer. Replace the pilot bearing (Viton seal) and the clutch brake. Cover bolts, Grade 5 or higher: 7/16 x 2-1/4 in., 40-50 ft-lb; 3/8 x 1-1/4 in., 25-35 ft-lb. Check 1/2 to 5/8 in. from release bearing to cover, 1/8 in. free travel at the yoke and 1/2 to 9/16 in. bearing to clutch brake. Adjust when half the pedal free travel is lost. Lube with high-temperature grease. Spring life two to five times that of an untreated spring, per Road Choice testing., - Resurface or replace the flywheel; if machined past .060 in., install the included fiber spacer
